Hello, I would like to replace the old screen on my Iphone 8 Plus.
I found an Original Screen and an after market one.
I do not have a screen programmer, so will it still work?
I do not necessarily need the True Tone, but if I did what Programmer should I buy:
1) For an after market screen?
2) For an Original Screen?
Does newer IOS versions affect this process?

if you dont need truetone then you can use either, if you want a programmer then you can get the icopy or apollo

Does the programmer works both with after market as an Original Screen?
Is JC-V1S any better?
@aizenrath the jc you can get attachment for other things like face id, it all depends if you want to do newer models and which boards are available
@tech_ni So you are saying that JC is better than Apollo.
Which one is for newer models?
And also does both of them work on Original and After Market screens?
@aizenrath jc is probably the better option due to being more upgradable, they will work on genuine screens but some aftermarket screens arent programmable so it doesnt matter which programmer, its more to do with the screens
