Why can’t I hear anything even though I have Bluetooth off?

My mother has an iPhone 6 Plus but she can’t hear anything and I turned off Bluetooth and still not hearing anything and I don’t know how to fix it

Hi Dwight,

Check the headphone jack. It's designed to cut off the speaker when a headphone is plugged in, so if something has gotten stuck in there, it could be activating the speaker bypass. If there isn't anything in there, try a set of headphones or earbuds and see if you've got any sound there.

Also, is it the lower speaker or the earpiece speaker that you're not getting sound out of? They are completely separate pieces of hardware so it would be highly unusual for both of them to go out. You can check by making a phone call and having the other party talk or make noise. If you can hear them when you have the phone to your face, then the earpiece speaker is good; then try putting the call on speaker and see if you get sound from the lower speaker.
