Hi, i tried to replace my iPhone 3GS's battery and now the iPhone wont power up it just loads a charging icon and does not move from there. When it was first done, everything was working perfectly. After a while the carrier's text did not appear on the top left corner and it was showing 0 bars. I decided to restore the iPhone to see if it would help, but it won't go past the battery screen now. Some help will be really really appreciated. Thankyou

Sounds like you got the 3g battery not the 3gs

I bought the battery from ebay, from a guy who has sold over 3500 of them and are for the 3Gs, it worked at first then it stopped working after i restored the phone.
return it..the 3gs battery may have been sitting on the shelf for months/year before being sold and shipped. quite likely it is just old, it's not the vendors fault. just luck of the draw..
