My iPod Nano 4th generation will not charge correctly.
Hasn't been charged in God knows how long. Will power on but shuts off with it displaying on the screen "Connect to Power" and then boots again and does the same thing, overand over

I know how you feel,iv had the same thing happen to me a couple times and I found that replacing the battery usually fixes it
Once these old iPod lithium battery’s are dead for some time they don’t like to wake up very much
Just to confirm it’s the battery I would try and restore using iTunes and if that doesn’t work
Replace the battery however in these iPod nanos it is easier said than done by not Impossible if your up for a challenge and you know how to solder
