Home button stopped working after opening phone

Hello, I bought a iPhone 7 for cheap recently, all it had was a broken screen, I figured why not I have a extra screen, which later turned out to be a crappy replacement… i opened the phone took off the old screen and put on the new one, it didn’t look good so I put the old screen back on, I didn’t transfer any of the components, I wanted to test the screen, so I put the old screen back, which had all of the components, powered it on, to see that Touch ID and the home button stopped working

tiny tear near the corner of the smaller cable I think..
