No power and not charging after replacing USB-C port

Replaced USB-C port with damaged contacts. Once replaced still no sign of life. I have looked on line and some say Tristar chip. Not sure how to proceed.

Buy a usbc amp meter to see if it’s drawing any power

My bad. I did that and forgot to add that to my initial comment. It is drawing .047A with occasional momentary jumps to .065 and .103 A
