How to repair a burn hole in fleece caused by woodstove or fireplace

The sleeve of my Snap-T pullover has a hole in the sleeve that was caused when it touched the side of a very hot wood stove and the fabric melted.

I think an ash from a bonfire landed on my back, because I have a small hole right in the middle of the back of my favorite red pullover! I could darn it if you could send me the yarn. Happy to send pictures if that would help.
