I'm receiving error code 12 when I boot up my Xbox

Hello, I’ve had my Xbox for over 10 years and recently it has shown the error code 12 when I boot up my Xbox. After some searching it says that is has to do with the dvd parameters? Does this mean getting a new dvd drive for the xbox and problem solved, or is there more to it?

Please help!

@david Yes a new drive would do it,

But if you feel like you can do it Inside the drives there are screws for the parameters you need to adjust them carefully though

You would be best of just getting a new drive
