hey thanks for responding but I Found a fix for it. The rubber part over the button disintegrated. So made a small push button out of 2 plastic ties and taped it on the side over the button. then tested and it works fine. put the protective cover back on it and it looks normal. :)
My on /off button has disintegrated need a new one

My on/off button worked fine for 2 years but tonite it will not turn on the Garmin. Need this fixed if you can do it.

ok just to clarify, did the rubber on the button disintegrate, or did the actual button stop working?
