One person can't hear me when they call

Everyone who calls me can hear me talk except one number (my wife). She can hear other people when she calls them. I have a Moto z4, but I don't know if the problem is on her end or mine. Any suggestions appreciated!

I have the exact same problem. Only when my wife calls me she can't hear me. Everyone else that calls hears me fine.

What is the make and model of your phone(original poster)? Can your wife hear you if you call from another phone? Does she hear static or nothing? Are you on the same phone plan as her?

Same here. My wife is Samsung 10e. She calls or receives calls from 1 person using Motorola and they can never hear her. Completely silent. My wife can hear other person fine. No problems with any other number. Other person can has no problems hearing anyone but my wife.

Go to Settings, System updates, Check for Updates.

System update 14 has a fix for this.

I added this as a comment yesterday instead of as an answer.

We had issues with this very issue. That is a Samsung S10e calling a Moto Z4 and the person on the S10e not being able to hear the Moto Z4.

I found that System Update 14 has a fix for this. This update did not update automatically for the 4 phones that we fix with this update yesterday. They had to manually go in and check for the update.

  • Addresses a one-way audio call issue on specific devices.

Go to Settings, System updates, Check for Updates.

System update 14 has a fix for this.

Are you in your wife’s list of “favourites”? And does her phone have preferred audio settings for different contacts? (Not even sure if such a thing is possible…) Guy

hi bud its more than likely going to be your device microphone going on and off

have you tried resetting the device in case its a bug in the software?

if you have the problem continues to persist i would definitely put that down to be the microphone on your device im sure theres a guide on here on how to change it
