Speaker got wet (dunked!) can it be repaired or not worth it?
Will not charge or respond to any buttons. No lights. Dead. Is it worth trying to repair or buy another?

My Bose Soundlink Mini got fully submerged in dirty water during the big flood in Germany and i got it fully working again, so i think its worth a shot.
I had the same problems you have and i cleaned every electrical contact with a tooth brush and isopropanol. And after that, everything worked like before!

This might be a bit late for you. I left mine out in the rain. When I checked it, it worked fine.
After leaving it on charge overnight, it wouldnt turn on and wouldnt charge. I checked the connections and circuit board, but all appeared ok.
The battery is right at the bottom of the unit and was wet and I couldnt read any voltage. I have ordered a replacement battery and will update with the result later.
Its a pity that Bose put the battery in a bowl thats guaranteed to fill with water in any rain. I am not sure that the unit could be described as water resistant. Even a significant splash would be enough to fill the cavity around the battery.

@pswhitehorse that is really hard to say unless you tear it down and see what is going on with it. First I would use something like [Bose SoundLink Revolve+ |this video] and tear it down. Then I would clean the logic board etc. with high grade isopropyl alcohol (anything over 95%). Check for obvious damaged looking components. Post pictures of your boards etc. if unfamiliar with what to look for iFixitでの質問に画像を追加する方法 Finally replace the battery and then re-evaluate. see what it does.
