Is it my battery or charger point causing slow charging?

Hello, around 6 days ago I spilt water into my charger point of my iPhone 7. My phone has been charging up very slow and has been going down very fast. I didn’t use the rice trick as a lot of people have said it is a myth. I immediately tried another method a close friend had told me to do, which was pointing my phone so the charger point is pointing to the ground, and tapping/shaking the phone to try get most of the water out. This worked a little bit. I then used the t-shirt I was wearing to carefully dab the charger point. After leaving the phone to dry for around 1-2 hours I carefully put my charger into the phone and it started charging. But, after round 2 minutes of charging a message on my phone appeared saying: “accessory not supported”. I started to get really stressed out at this point and ran downstairs to my mum and she said that the next day she would go to the supermarket and get me a new charger (as at this point we thought it was the charger). Fast forward to the next day) I kept getting the same alert all through the night saying “accessory not supported” which kept waking me up. But the phone charged up. After getting home from school a immediately was excited to use my new charger and check if it would work. I’d did..kinda. It started off strong, charging. Good. Then I started timing it, it charged up 7% in an hour. That’s when I started getting concerned as it definitely shouldn’t take that long. Then I asked my mum about it again and she went online and ordered 3 super fast charging chargers. Fast forward to Friday (they were supposed to come on Wednesday of well, I understand there’s a pandemic going on). The chargers arrive. They’re very nice. But. They still make my phone charge up very slow. 16% an hour ish (I timed it haha). Now to the current day. I am still very anxious. I am taking it to my friends dad who is going to have a look at it and tell me what it wrong with it. Can anybody else help and give me tips? Is it my battery or my charger point? (As my battery runs out pretty quick) Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this I really appreciate it. Have a lovely day and stay safe :)

This sounds like it would almost definitely be a charger port issue. After being exposed to water, even if it was dried out pretty quickly, there may have been some corrosion inside that will slowly spread and eventually brick the device. I'd suggest taking it to a reputable repair shop to see if they can give the device a water damage treatment and diagnose whether the problem point is the battery or the charging port. If you're able to look inside the device first, maybe check to see if the water damage indicators near the top of the device have been triggered, and that may give you a better idea of how much water actually got into your device. I find it quite unlikely the battery is going to cause any issues before a charging port does when it comes to water exposure.
