How to Replace Power Button

I''ve bought a new rear case for my iPod Touch 4th Gen, but it didn't come with the power button. I have managed to remove the power button from my old case but cannot ffigure out how to fit it into my new case without breaking it. Is there a trick to it or do I just have to find someone selling a rear case with power button?
