Water stuck in iPhone screen

Ok here's my problem. My iphone 4 has home button problem since the last 2 months. So, since then I have known a solution from google saying rub it with a little alcohol around the home button. I do not have any, but I use the iKlear apple polish to do it. It works will, until today, it stop working.

Stop working as it is not responding at all. So i add more of this iklear, BOOM my screen is watery :( I pour too much and it gets into it via home button.

Below the screen, i can see the screen is not the same as before, and i believe it is iklear thats get into it.

I was wondering, is my SCREEN spoil???

Or that water stuck in between the glass case and above screen board?

As for now I do not dare to switch it ON.. so its OFF and i put it in a container with RICE...

Update

OK after 2 days... i hardly see my screen wet.. just 1 small white dot at the corner. now another problem is, my iphone didnot make any keypad, keylock, no sms tones, no sound playing any game/youtube.. but the phone is still ringing over phone call and sound notification. i can hear everything with headphone, but not without it. why?? is it because i soak in rice???

Update

I end up sending my phone to a shop for repair, since warranty void for water damage.. Got my home button fix...

as for the no text sound, no keylock sound, and no keypad sound, it has nothing to do with headphone jack... BUT the problem is with my dock connector error which recognize my iphone in dock speaker mode so it mute all that sound except ringtone.

so i fix home button & dock connector.

My display do have a little bit white spot, which the shop cant even detect it, but i already know where it is. So i dont change it since it is like to little.

Thanks for all the respond here, it really helps :)

Since it is 99.1% water, you are doing the right thing. See if the rice will get the water out of your screen. Give it a couple of days and see what you get. Concerns might be given to the other ingredients of the solution. Do not turn it on and reevaluate the damage in a few days. Since the space under your screen is small, you will need more time for the water to dissipate. Here is the chemical information of the iKlear

omg.. this is a hot mess :(

so the water is actually inside the LCD or in between the screen case * LCD?

at first it looks white bright.. slowly some dissapear.. and some turn into black/dark spot.. whats that?

and i also see a straight line if i see it from the side.. see image below..

in photo u can see a straight line, white spot and some black spot..

is this a serious problem which will KILL my lcd? im freaking out loud :(

no idea what's in iKlear...hopefully it is mainly water and alcohol?? good idea to keep phone off. I'd take the back and battery off (easy) and sit the phone upright so that any liquid will drain down and out...you may like to take a look at our electronics liquid damage guide and the iphone 4 repair guides to take the phone apart further to check/minimise damage. The screen may recover if it dries out (can take days and days) or if it is between the layers of digitiser and LCD. Wait until everything is completely dry then reassemble and assess.

Update

iKlear if I read this right it seems to be 99.1% water! hmmm....1) you could put tap water in and save money, 2) water is going to cause corrosion, 3) takes absolutely ages to dry out. I really would look in to taking the phone apart more and cleaning the parts and components with some cleaning/rubbing alcohol and a soft brush. Most here recommend using isopropyl alcohol (higher % alcohol the better) then I would throw away your iKlear.

Update

Probably your dock connector, but could also be headphone jack tricking phone to always be on. Did you clean any parts of your phone?
