LCD screen very bright and thin line at one side?

i have a iphone white version and i tried to change the volume flex but i got stuck half way through put the thing back together everything works but the screen is very bright near white all the time even when you boot the device the back ground is nearly white, is there any hope on saving my iphone i would like to play my games again.

You likely damaged the screen or a connector (depending upon how you did the repair). Your phone can be saved by replacing the front panel (I would guess it is the only problem in this instance). Purchase the complete assembly and not just the LCD (it will save much heartache and money too).
