Pc not giving signal to monitor after getting to home screen
Whenever I open my computer the monitor gets a signal until I get to the point where I input my password etc and it just stops receiving signal

If you are talking about the login screen then it sounds like a video driver or update problem.
Try a Repair boot:
Performing a Start-up Repair
The first thing you can try is booting into the recovery environment, if possible, and then performing a start-up repair. To access the recovery environment, turn your computer on and off three times. While booting, make sure you turn off the computer when you see the Windows logo. After the third time, Windows 10 will boot into diagnostics mode. Click Advanced options when the recovery screen appears.
Click Troubleshoot.
Click Advanced options.
Then, click Start-up Repair.
When done reboot. Did it work? If it didn’t there are otherthings to try.
