I'm trying to replace the battery in my Pixel 3. I heated up the iOpener for a minute and left it on the back of the phone for several minutes to melt the glue but the back cover won't budge when I pull on it with the suction cup. Any tips?

might be able to use a hair dryer or heatgun, be careful with that tho. dont over heat anything.
also maybe use some drops of alcohol. has the phone been repaired before? ive heard horror stories of repair places using super glue or other kinds of glue to reseal cases to “save money”.
