iPhone 8 is acting very 'screwy' after battery replacement.

I recently had my battery replaced for my iphone 8, and i started the process to ‘calibrate’ the battery and everything seemed to be working, until i tried to charge it. it did not charge, and at that point i realized my battery percent had been reported the same for 3 hours despite the phone not being on the charger, something it still does now. also, i didn’t know this at the time, but my back camera and flash were also out due to a possibility related thermal sensor issue. after i did a cold restart, the screwyness only got worse, because now sometimes my phone kernel panics (the log said “no successful check ins from com.apple.thermalmonitord in 180 seconds”, and “SD: 1 Missing sensor(s): TG0B TG1B TG2B TP1A TP2C TPaC TP3R TP4H TQ0Q TP0Z TP0j Th0i Th0a Th0f Th0x Th1i Th1a”). what parts of my phone would likely need to be replaced?
