Still have the F11 Code. My Model is #11045976400 Kenmore HE3t

I am having the same F11 error code. I cleaned out the Coin Trap and there was a lot of link and a few coins. Still have the F11 Code. My Model is #11045976400 Kenmore HE3t How do I make sure that I’m getting the correct Control Board. And will that take care of the F11 Error? Thank you

Hi @rbhazie ,

Don’t know the answer but according to this supplier the part number for the tech sheet for the washer is 8182277.

On p.4 it shows the possible causes for an F11 error code. You’ll find how to access the diagnostics mode on p.7.

Depending on whether the problem is with the MCU (motor control unit) or the CCU (central control unit) they are both listed with the part supplier linked above. Search for control board in the parts search box on the page to view the location and cost of the part.

There are other suppliers online that may suit you better. Just search for 11045976400 parts to get results.

Note: I reopened your “answer” which had been deleted by the ifixit iRobot spam filter. Sometimes the IRobot gets it wrong when long model numbers are posted as it “thinks” that they are phone numbers and therefore spam. The iRobot is self learning so by reopening the deleted post it should know what to look for next time and not do it- hopefully ;-)

I have posted it here as a new question so that it would get more attention than being open in an old thread as maybe it would be overlooked.

Thank you. I ran the diagnostic tests and it ran fine. So I'm still not sure which board to change first.

@rbhazie

Strange that it works OK in diagnostic mode but not in normal mode

If there was a problem with either board you would think that it would fail regardless.

Yes that is why I don't know what to do now?

@rbhazie

Does it fail every time in normal mode?

If it only occurs in normal mode and not in diagnostic mode I'm wondering if there is a problem with the CCU as it controls the MCU and perhaps there is a problem with the CCU board and not a hardware problem in the machine i.e. loose or corroded connections.

My thinking is that maybe the CCU is a bit like a computer in that the diagnostic software is a different piece of software (file?) to the operational software and if there is a problem with the operating software affecting the operation of the machine then you can still test the machine for hardware problems with the diagnostics because then you know it is hardware if it still fails.

This is just supposition on my part of course
