Replaced XS screen (non-Apple) - Phone will not restore
Replaced the screen on a friend’s daughter’s iPhone XS with a non-Apple product. Install went fine. Screen came up asking for passcode. They had forgotten the passcode ; trying to perform a factory reset in iTunes failed and leaves me with the iTunes error message 4013 and the phone screen on ‘support.apple.com/iphone/restore’. I then tried a third party software (imyfone), but that did nothing. Anybody see a way out of this for me?
