i recently had a home button that didn’t work so i bought a new one and it doesn’t work, its connected and it doesn’t even click. but it does double tap.
ALSO:
i have recently found out that the backplate of the replacement home button has fell of. id this the reason why it doesn’t work? and how can i fix it

First of all, don’t buy parts on Amazon
Second, it’s a YF button, it only works with taps and doesn’t really do an original click, like try just tapping it once and it should act normal

it doesn't act like "normal" after i tapped it once. what should i do ??
Return it and take it to a local repair tech
