Hi @dreeves01 ,
What is the full model number of the microwave oven?
There are 8 models beginning with 401.8505.
Assuming that since you’re asking about a fuse that the microwave won’t start or even won’t show that it has power etc., is this correct?
Looking at the parts list for a 401.85053010 no separate fuse is shown but it has 4 thermostats (part #4, 5, 41 & 87 - cabinet parts diagram) so maybe one of them is the problem.
Be safety aware when working in a microwave oven. The HV capacitor in the oven can store >6000V DC for months even if the oven has been disconnected from the power supply for this length of time. This voltage can seriously injure you if you don’t know what you’re doing. The capacitor needs to be correctly discharged as soon as it can be accessed after the oven’s cover has been removed and before commencing any other work inside the oven

Thanks @jayeff for your reply. In looking at my manual, the model number stops at 401. 8508*. There are no numbers following. As this particular has 4 thermostats, maybe it is a bit more than I should pursue.
Thanks for your assistance. Maybe it is time for a new microwave.
Try looking for the model number on the microwave oven itself. Sometimes there is an information label just inside the door, if not it will be on the back or underneath, which makes it hard if it is built in.
Cheers.
I would highly recommend not fixing a microwave as they hold a significant zap in them when touched.
