Standby light flashes slowly and no picture

Toshiba TF-50A810U19 Started off showing colored lines horizontally across the screen. The T-con board was changed, which did not fix the issue. I was then given the tv. I turned the tv on to see what was going on with it. The picture did show up but the lines started to show up and picture faded off to black, no lines or anything. I could tell the back lights were still on. I pulled the back off and checked all the connections, turned the tv on and tv just showed black screen. I changed the main board, and still nothing. Now with the new boards in the blue stand by light will flash slowly, for about 1-2 minutes then stops. If I press the input button on the tv the blinking may stop or sometimes keep blinking.

Anyone have any ideas on this issue?

@b23norris horizontal lines are almost always related to bad Gate drivers on the LCD driver board. That is the board that is connect via the very fine ribbon cables to the LCD. The one the Tcon board wires go to. The issues that you are having have since you replaced the main board maybe related to that board. Put your old one back in and see if it works like it did before. You can consider adding some pictures of your boards and what your screen shows with your QUESTION. It will help us to see what you see.

Keep in mind that TOshiba is another one of those black helicopter companies that send their ambulance chasing attorneys after anybody that even remotely tries to fix their devices. They hate DIY’er with a passion. No help is to be expected from them.

I am working on getting pictures to post on here, but that another story. So now if I plug the tv in and leave it off for maybe 15 minutes then turn it on the blue led (power light) will flash 6 times fast then completely stop. I disconnected the cable from the t-con board on the left side as your facing the back of the tv. Now I have a full picture on the left side of the tv (as your looking at the tv screen oppisite side I disconnected it from) So Im taking it as the driver board on that side is going bad. If I'm correct this is something that can not be changed, is that correct? Before I tear into it more.
