Auto boot and shut off loop from apple logo with charger

My device won't start without charger. With a charger connected, it auto boots and shuts off with the Apple logo and loading bar upto 30%. This continues in a loop. Diagnostics with D say battery not detected. I had a burning smell come out of the DC port last when it worked fine and the charging port used to get extremely hot. I have bought a new charger and tried.

If you can boot up in Safe Mode (Shift ⇧ key) let’s get a better view of things, install this gem of an app! CoconutBattery take a snapshot of the apps main window and post it here for us to see iFixitでの質問に画像を追加する方法

Cannot boot to safe mode either. I guess i will have to replace the DC-in port and the battery.

Changed the battery and DC port. Auto bootup has stopped. Machine boots up fine to my desktop and everything works fine with charger. But no battery status is shown inside OS. On running Diagnostics, it says No battery detected. I am guessing the new battery needs to be charged fully to green before its detected by OS?

Sounds like you needed to replace the MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Late 2013-Mid 2015) MagSafe 2 DC-In Board as it likely melted enough to distort the plastic insulator plate. Its a bit of work as you’ll need to lift the logic board out following this guide MacBook Pro 15'' Retina Display Mid 2015のロジックボードの交換. Follow it down to step 39.
