It's underneath the throttle body. Round in shape, has an electrical connector for the EGR lift sensor and a vacuum line is connected to it. Check the attached diagram. I would definitely clean it first and make sure that your vacuum lines do not have a leak before replacing it. No a common part that wears out. Hope this helps, good luck.
