My watch was on swimming mode, I swam &now it’s dead.
My watch got wet while on swimming mode. Now it won’t switch on
Liquid damage is like cancer for electronics in that you can “cure” it in one area but then later down the road it can show up in other spots. At this point, the only thing your watch would be good for would be to take apart and learn how it works.
As a repair technician, I always tell consumers to never trust their “waterproof” devices in or near water. I’ve seen what makes them water resistant and at the moment they don’t make their devices truly “waterproof”. It’s all a gimmick. It’s really only meant if you spill something on them or if they take a quick swim in the sink.
