Fridge compressor kicking in and out, can generator power be source?

Lately, I notice more and more condensation on the shelves suggesting this has been ongoing. I brushed off the coils on the back ( not much dust) unplugged and reset to zero. After plugging in it’s working again. I set the temps in the middle ( 0-7) and its cooling and freezing. I can’t hear the freezer fan which makes me believe it hasn’t been working since the foods on the top shelf don’t freeze properly. This is a Frigidaire FRT125GWK. The back and compressor area look pretty clean, so I don’t think its that old. I run my cabin with a Firman 4550 W generator into my breaker box. When I bought the cabin it was run on a 2500 W gen and condensation was a problem. I run a 10 cu.ft. freezer,, 1200W microwave, a propane range requiring elec for oven, coffee maker and 3/4 fridge. Only the fridge has seems to have issues. Should I have my fridge on a surge protected power bar? I have to shutdown for oil inspection. Can start up surge affect fridge running W r only 3650? Last eve my microwave (2nd time) needed to cool down after 4 min cooking (it bumped off, its on surge protector bar)

Set the thermostat to a lower setting to see if the compressor starts and then stays on. If it does, the compressor doesn't have a problem.
