The Epson Stylus NX230 is an all-in-one color inkjet printer with wireless networking released in December 2011

Won't print black, yellow, or cyan ink, despite new cartridges.

Hi all!

So I bought this printer second hand, bought brand new ink for it, and it’s not working. The ink levels say they are full (or near full), the ink tray moves, and the magenta color works fine. But attempting to print in black/white gives me a blank page, and attempting to print in color only registers the magenta ink. I have attempted to clean the inkhead using the diluted water on a paper towel method (several times over several days) and while that did draw out a lot of ink, it’s still not printing anything.

Any suggestions would be helpful!

You should check if the printhead nozzle is clogged that may be the issue otherwise, you should check the manufacturer documents on how to recalibrate the print heads and if that doesn’t solve your problem you may have to replace the printhead.

Alright, so I bought a nozzle cleaner kit, and the good news is that I was able to push the liquid through all three color nozzles, so those should *hopefully* be fixed. The bad news is that even after leaving it for almost 24 hours, I still can't push the liquid through the black nozzle. I don't have any manufacturer docs, so I'm not sure how to unclog it. Thoughts?
