iMac 2012 BR2032 Pram battery replacement
Can I replace a BR2032 battery with a CR2032 battery in my iMac 2012, as it is hard to buy a BR2032 in Australia.

Sure, that works too!
Just keep in mind your system uses the battery to hold its settings when the system looses power when the system is unplugged or if you turn off the AC breaker.
CR2032 has slightly more capacity than a BR2032. About 225 mAh for a CR2032 compared to 190 mAh for a BR2032.
So you’ll need to replace it sooner if you leave it unplugged as your system leveraged vampire power off the AC as well.
