They did not make it easy, did they. I believe the hook up may be under the pale green plastic piece with the 3 screws. Our that is where the house power comes in. But I'd like to be more certain so I don't suggest anything that could damage the heater.

Could you get a wider shot of the circuit board, preferably of the whole board and showing where the power cable to the house power connects to the circuit board?

It would also be very helpful to get a picture showing the circuit board at the base of the pale green plastic piece with 3 screws.

Finally do you have the name of the company that makes or sold the energy saver spa pack, and the name or model number they sell it under. For exmample a KL6500 pack bought from EnergySaver Spa eqiupment. I may be able to find a wiring schematic for it with this info, In the mean time I'm looking through anything I can find called an "energy saver spa pack" in 110V to see if I can match the curcuit board part you show.

By the way, if you are thinking this shouldn't be this hard, you're right. On my spa control board the heater terminals is clearly marked, But we'll figure it out.

EDIT: I updated my answer and included a picture showing what I believe to be the correct wire attachments. It is modified from the one you provided so it should be very clear as to what goes where.

Wow! I think I may have found your control board for sale on Aliexpress. It is a replacement for a KL6500/KL6600 board. If it is the correct board and it looks like it, it shows the heater attachment. A picture of it is at https://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1PZPCi3LD8...

There is even a schematic of the wiring. I can't seem to get a direct link but it is the last of the four images for the product here:

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32846426...

Which means you hook up to the set of 5 silver screw terminals in your 3rd image. I modified it to show the correct attachments and added it to my modified answer.

EDIT: Updated with new information about where to attach wires

Standard warning: before hooking anything up, make sure the power to the spa is off. Preferably flip the circuit breaker for the circuit supplying the spa. Your spa may plug in, in which case, pulling the plug is also OK. Do not ever work on the spa without the power turned off. The household current can kill you.

I don’t know how much you already know , so I’m going to assume you have no background at all. I apologize in advance if I’m going too basic, I’m not trying to mansplain I’m just trying to answer the question without making assumptions.

With that out of the way, here is what your wire colors mean. The brown wire is the hot wire. In household 110V AC wiring, it is the black wire. The blue wire is the neutral wire, the same as the white wire in household 110V AC. And the green/yellow wire is the ground wire. It is the same as the green or bare wire in household 110V AC.

Here are some videos on how to connect wire to screw terminals. They are shown for electrical outlets for a house, but same idea for any screw terminal. I’m not endorsing these as the best sources, just that they do a good enough job of showing you how to do it

For solid wire: https://youtu.be/q5aEGrnhK88

For stranded wire (wire is many small wire strands bundled together) : https://youtu.be/YyrcL6yLoZ8

And lastly, here are what I believe to be the correct connections based on a matched board being sold on aliexpress and the associated connection schematic.

ACL is the "hot" black wire from your house. ACN is the white neutral wire, and the funny symbol with the one horizontal and three vertical lines is the ground wire (green or bare copper). You attach them at the lower right side. Can't seem to post an iamge but there must be a way as you did.

Here's the image for the KL6600 board for Bryan Jones (@bryanjones42099)
Black is hot wire (house current) it may also be brown
White is neutral wire, it may also be blue
Green is neutral, it may be bare wire or yellow/green

These are the standard colors for wiring the board to the house current. Note you MUST turn off power to the wire at circuit breaker box to work on this safely.

here is original image of board.

Here is how you should hook the heater up to the board. Black may be brown, white may be blue. Again, you MUST turn off the power to do this safely.
