Can I solder a micro chip on my pc motherboard?

Hi. I was replacing my laptops battery and i accidentally hit a micro chip with my screw driver and took it right off. Im not sure what type of micro chip it is (capacitor, inductor, resistor, etc). I still have the tiny component and I’ve been trying to find out if i should try to solder it back on or if i should order a new part(s). Also would like to know if it would be dangerous to turn my pc on in this state? The pictures attached show the missing component in the red circle. on the right of it is the batter cable connecting to the laptops motherboard. i greatly appreciate any help i can get! thank you!
