Stylus C88 Printing Evenly Spaced Thin Black Horizontal Lines

I have the same problem except my printer is new, my printer uses Epson ink cartridges, and I used the same printer (C88Plus) for years which is why I purchased my current one. I thought the new C88 Plus would perform as well as the old one. I was wrong !
