My PS4 Pro is now randomly losing its internet connection and then freezes up on screen as well as my controllers. I then have to do a hard reset and reconnect, but then the whole process has started repeating itself. Any idea what may be causing the problem?

If the console is more than a year old check if the antenna connectors have become loose or unplugged, try reseating them and see how that goes.
Did it happen after being opened by any chance?
Follow up to step 6, note that the top cover does not need to be removed.
