I have a 1997 Ford Expedition I had a key for it with the security chip in it lost a chip now security light blinking. Got to transponder keys made and program to the truck and took it to the Ford dealership they couldn't do it. I took the fuse out of it and it still won't start. What else can I do to get it started. Any advice and answers will help thank you

1, Try turning the key and moving the shift from park to drive and back. Then try starting it again!
2. Try your spare key in case the chip has failed in your primary key.
3. If you get it started, go to an Auto Zone and get a computer read out to see if it will tell you what the issue is.

Use the trunk to first lock the driver door then unlock it.

It’s your PATS passive anti thefts system put key and turn on don’t start light alarm blinking fast on dash leave on its fast for about 2 minute then stops an will blink 1or 2 pause and then 1 2 3 4 etc if you miss first cycle it loops so wait
Ok blinks out then stop and 5-10secs it begins 1 blink pause then 1. 2 3 well
The code will be 1 3 or thirteen
gooogle PATS code 13 will explain what it is and what to do
