So I've got a Sharp TV LC-60LE632U TV that has a red line on the right side. When the screen is black it's bright red but say I put a movie on the only place I'll see the red is where there's black or on the outside of the letterbox. So it kind of isnt a huge issue, I'm just wondering if it's a fix I can do without risking something more annoying.

The lines are a defective LCD thats how the light panels run in the back. Most likely needs a new screen sad to say.

Thanks a bunch, I kind of figured that was it, I was just confused as to why the red only shows when dark/black is in the picture. I thought it would be red at all times, but I have little to no experience in this.
