My beats will only turn on if the charger is plugged in and wired

Beats will only turn on if charger is connected then wired. They do not turn on with charger only nor wire only. I replaced the battery but same thing happens. I tried to reset them by holding the power button and mute button as well as power & volume down button. Nothing has worked. Are there any more troubleshooting options?

Youre beats could have a defective battery. You might need to look at replacement batteries.

I replaced the battery. I bought one from ifixit.com. It's still doing the same thing with the new battery.
