MacBook Pro A1278 Logic Board Replacement Assistance

I have a Macbook Pro A1278 i7 model. It got an accidental spill on the left side of the laptop, so of course the logic board is gone. I purchased a new logic board (i7 processor) of course and installed it. The computer turns on for like 10 sec, like its booting, and then it just shuts off.

Steps I’ve tried: Moving keyboard wire, computer it’ll switch, then right back off. I tried to see if there is any heat generating with just battery & magsafe adapter hooked to the logic board. With old logic board, there is no heat. With new logic board, it gets hot to the touch and looks like its actually charging the battery. Both lights on the charger turn turns green when plugging it in, then turns back to the amber color as if charging.

But something strange happens, when I put the logic board back into the computer, and connect all the wiring. The logic board doesn’t even get warm & only one side of the charger is amber. Could the MagSafe adapter (Not the charger) have gotten damaged as well and not able to generate enough output for the logic board? or could the keyboard have gotten damaged too and the wiring not allowing it to receiving power throughout the logic board?

Can you clarify what your system is. I altered it to the 2012 model but we need to know what your system is and what CPU it came with and if you are trying to alter the logic board to a different board.
