Wont work after screen replacement

Hi, I changed LCD screen to my phone. Now after replacement it charges the phone and on the screen there reads how much there is battery so the screen seems to be working. But it wont turn on from there. The side buttons wont work normally. It works sometimes when I press the volume button and then the screen turns on and there is picture of the loaded battery. So what went wrong?
