My replacement battery constantly reads at 7% after ~60% remaining
So I replaced my battery with iFixit’s battery in my 2015 15” MacBook Pro. The new battery seemingly had an issue where once the battery would reach about 60%, it would jump to 7%. But the thing is that the battery would last a normal amount of time for a full charge, regardless of the percent. So it would claim that the battery was at 7%, but in reality, it had plenty of battery left and was just reading the charge wrong.
So I emailed iFixit and got a replacement battery, but THIS one has the exact same issue. So either I’m the most unlucky person in the world and got two bad batteries back to back, or something is wrong with my laptop.
I reset the SMC and did one of those “full drain” things to “calibrate” the battery, even though I think battery calibration is bs. I can’t find anyone else having this issue. Any ideas?

I'm having the same issue. I've tried numerous times over the past two months to calibrate the battery, but the same thing happens. It jumps down to 7% like clockwork after running for a short amount of time.
