My 55k 8000 picture slowly wavers then the entire screen shows vertical lines. Takes about 15 minutes. If I turn it off, then on, picture starts well then this scenario repeats.

@djm1803 could be a bad t-con board or main board. Post some pictures of what your screen shows and of all the boards so we can try and help you further. iFixitでの質問に画像を追加する方法
