Hi,
So I fixed a water damaged iphone 6s,changed screen, battery, charging port and WiFi antenna and removed a shorted cap, the phone works perfect apart from when I make a call the person on the other end can hear static,
Any ideas would be great.

test using voice memos. if you can record voice memos with no static sounding then the mics are okay and the fault likely lies with something in the network capabilities. maybe a new antennae but more likely board damage caused by the water

Have you tried another earpiece speaker or front camera assembly? If either are liquid damaged that may be causing the problem.

Hi,
So I removed the front camera and speaker and the static is still there, I did disconnect the charging port and the noise disappeared so I thought was maybe a dodgy port, so tryed another but still the same issue, any more help would be appreciated,
