Hello I have a 2007 MacBook a1181 black but I was just wondering can I swap the motherboard I bought a 2009 MacBook logic board and I have the other logic board that's 2007 out of the MacBook but is it possible to get the 2009 motherboard and use it in a 2007 MacBook

Which 2009 MacBook is it? If it’s the A1181, it should work fine. If it’s the A1342, absolutely not.

The A1181 has a square camera while the A1342 has a round camera. That's the easiest way to tell them apart
What can I do with the motherboard then I only have just the motherboard
@jj14378 I suppose you could check the ports, if there's two audio jacks then you have an A1181 board (compatible).
Also don't mind if it doesn't have the charging port, it's a seperate component you can take off your existing board and put on the replacement
Update - just realized the 2009 boards have slightly different antenna connector locations. Well crap. I'm still really unsure if the antennas will work (so why accept my answer?)
