Tv was shutting off on its own , now I can’t get the input to change

What is the model number of the TV?

If possible try using the buttons on the TV to change inputs/channels etc in case the TV remote control unit is faulty.

Also remove the batteries from the remote just in case it's faulty and locking up the TV by sending corrupt info etc.
