Kenmore Washing machine not draining and spinning slowly

HI there. I have a Kenmore top loading washer, about 10 years old. The other day, when it was supposed to be on rinse, it was just spinning very slowly and no water at all was being drained from it. It starts and stops when I open the lid, so i’m assuming it’s not the lid switch.

I took of the cabinet and disassembled the pump. Water came gushing from the drain hose connected to the wash basin.

There was a sock wrapped up in the pump. I cleared it and reassembled it. When I started the washer again, i ran into the same problem: Slow spinning and no water drainage. could it be 1) a clogged hose on the output end? or 2) a bad motor?
