Entire task bar at bottom stopped.

First noticed clock stopped. Tries to open settings to change but nothing seems to work on bottom of page. Cannot enter settings, open Microsoft menu with apps, and all disappeared at page bottom including IE and downloads, etc. Help????

Have you restarted? Maybe try restarting file explorer

You can probably help us along by telling us what OS it is.

If it is Windows 10, Shell Experience Host is responsible for modern UI elements, try restarting that process.

As well as what @tomchai said, if restarting the Shell Experience Host does not fix the issue, try restarting File Explorer.

You can do this by:

  1. Opening Task Manager (Crtl + Shift + Esc)
  2. Either Scroll Down or open File Explorer and click on it.
  3. Click Restart on the bottom-right corner of Task Manager

First things first. Try a restart of the system if you have not done so already. If that does not solve the problem this could be an issue with Windows itself. You might just need to backup your data and wipe the system. Then reinstall a fresh copy of windows.
