I spilled a little bit of water on my macbook pro about a month ago. As of now, it still works fine, with no signs of damage. However, I’ve heard that oftentimes water can corrode the laptop and cause it to stop working at a later date.
How long does it take until this corrosion usually happens? If my laptop is still working fine (1 month post minor spill), does it mean that my computer is probably fine?

Open it and look for signs of corrosion, Green to turquoise colors.

What I'm asking is - if there's corrosion, how long does it usually take for it to damage the laptop. Since I haven't experienced any dmaage yet, does it mean I'm probably safe? I don't want to risk taking my laptop apart.
Kind of like asking how pregnant is she. These things grow over time.
I don't know anyone who can open up a macbook and I don't want to risk damaging it myself. What should I do?
Take it or mail it to a professional. What are you doing on a "do it yourself" site if you don't want to fix it yourself?
