Why is my iPhone 6s black screen all the time?
Hello everybody.
I have a iPhone and the other day my lcd broke. I got an brand new LCD that I replaced myself and because the health of the battery was poor I changed the battery too. 3 weeks (more or less) have passed and one day i let the charge of the battery reach 0% and the iphone shuted down as expected. When I had the oportunity to plug the phone to the wall nothing happened. I let the phone sit for about 2 hours and nothing happened again. I tried to change the old LCD, because I thought the new LCD was damaged somehow and nothing happened again. I changed the battery to the old one (original) and nothing changed again. What could possible be the cause?
Facts:
- When i plug the iphone to de laptop, the iTunes recognizes the phone but the serial number appears to be unknown: "Serial number: n/d";
- I have tried the power button + home button thing and nothing happens.
Can somebody help me? Is the motherboard fried somehow? If i charge the battery with a external charger is it possible to work?
Thank you all. (Sorry for my bad English).
I think I was very careful when I made the amount of operations of changing the battery and the LCD but you never know... I'm gona have an eye on that.
Tomorrow I'm going to charge the battery externally to give it some juice and plug it back into place. Hopefully that works. I don't know the health state of the old and original battery but if the new battery doesn't revive i'm going to try that on to the old one.
I'm really afraid about the motherboard.. I know that at distante and in a internet forum it is hard to say what is going on, but you think that considering the iTunes "serial number n/d" thing and the other factors, is it possible that the motherboard is fried?

My thoughts are that focus on trying to either charge the battery a bit and then trying it in the phone to see if it charges or charge enough to turn on the phone and then keep an eye on the battery percentage to see if it goes up and time how long it takes... ideally I would charge it just a little bit enough to show the battery symbol on the screen and then test it with a USB ampmeter
