Why won’t my Xbox turn on?

So I took apart my Xbox because I had problems with the fan. After I put it together I noticed the eject button and power button didn’t work. So I popped it off thinking that it wasn’t aligned right so I moved the front panel down words and now the eject button is aligned but the power button still doesn’t work. I don’t know why it wouldn’t when the panne is screwed in correctly and the cover fits over it the same way it always has
