Unable to power on

Okay so my iPhone 6 has not been turning on for the last month. The only thing that shows up is the charging screen. I have charged it for countless hours, I have blow dried the back to make it warm, I have done power to home button and nothing. My last resort was cleaning the charging port which worked for a while but it shut down and is now doing the same thing. I don’t know what to anymore and I just need to hear if someone has had the same experience. I have a feeling it is the battery and I could take it to get it fixed but the closest apple store is about 2 hours away and I don’t have the gas to waste only to possibly find out that they probably can’t do anything about it.
