Phone restarts when answering call, taking picture...

Unless I have bluetooth/plug-in headphones connected, when I attempt to make a call my phone restarts.

The volume buttons and mute switch are not functioning either. When I take a picture with bluetooth/plug-in headphones it works sometimes, but then it restarts a few seconds later. When I consulted a private phone fixer, he said the cost could total $200 (including repairing the screen and back-case since my front camera is cracked). What kit would be appropriate from ifixit?

Recommending a replacement kit without having the chance to test the phone would be an educated guess based on previous experiences that might not apply to your single case, hope you realize that. A faulty front camera may cause issues and reboots and since it’s faulty would be the first thing to try and replace. However, since the phone was obviously bumped and you seem to be having troubles when audio comes to picture, you might as well have a logic board issue that would require microsoldering skills and tools to be fixed. On iPhone 7 series audio related issues are relatively common when phone grounds on hard surfaces. That said, here’s the front cam spare part and relevant guide for replacement:
